ONE FLESH

"This man leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh" (Ephesians 5:31)

The world is torn in the midst of family disintegration and dissolution of the sacred bond of marriage. Increasingly, in a faster and easier way, homes are destroyed, injuring deeply the very foundations of society. However, comes the encouraging word of God, assuring that social peace is possible because the family unit is possible. It is possible that man and woman love each other so much that they want to give up his selfish life and decide to live for the other, and together for their children. God ensures the blessing and total support to marriage and the family.

However, it is virtually impossible to establish an ideal relationship that enjoy a Union indivisible through the perfect bond of love, unless both the man and the woman are willing to establish an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. The Council of the Virgin Mary the servants, in that simple wedding in Cana of Galilee, is still valid today for each of those who have the responsibility and the privilege of being a home: "Do all what you say" (John 2:5)

If we follow the instructions that God gives us, it will be possible to be married and be happy. The first instruction, after establishing a right relationship with God, is to make marriage the priority relationship above all others. It does not mean neglecting the others, for example, the relationship with parents; It is not make them aside, or leave them in the background. What God teaches us is that husband and wife are now one only, and parents deserve love and honour on the part of the two.

But as for spouses, no influence can be higher among them than God's. We seek to establish in each marriage unit that is around him and his word. We will then see the support, protection and blessing to households, so that nothing and no one flakes them: will always stay United, indivisible, inseparable, i.e. one flesh. We allow God's love to fill our hearts and our spouses that never extinguishes love in hearts.

"Lord, thank you for this new day that we may live, have a home, a job, kids and especially a wife (o)." On this day, we made the decision to love our spouse, closer to give him a kiss and hug you tenderly, ask for forgiveness and start over. I know that our good intentions are not enough to keep the home. We need you. Take control of our family. Sit on the throne of our home. You declare our King, our Prince of peace. We ask that you do of each Member of our family, the person you want to be. "Submit one to another in the fear of God, married women are subject to their own husbands, husbands, love your wives, el who loves his wife, himself loves; because no one ever hated his own flesh, but supports it and cares, as Christ also the Church, each one of you also love his wife as himself; and women respect her husband." Amen
