THE BLESSING OF GIVING

"Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be in your lap. for with the measure you use, you will be back to measure"(Matthew 6:38)

There are several passages that can be found in the Bible about the blessings of giving, and that giving means provide, give, provide, transmit and transfer something. In the above passage the Lord challenges us to give and assures us great rewards. When we decided to give, it implies to give above and beyond the material; In addition, it involves cultivating a joyful attitude to the time to do so.

Lord, thank you for this new dawn that we may live, have your holy spirit to dwell in our lives, giving us a home, a family, a job and a few children. We thank you for all received, the good and even bad. We know that you are right and good. We fully trust in you, we will give you the control of our lives in faith.
