"And Jehovah removed the distress of Job, when he had prayed for his friends; and increased to double all the things that had been job"(Job 42:10)
COMPLEMENTARY passage: 1 Samuel 12
There are many who have heard of this man who had to go through many trials and adversities but that, thank you always waited for an answer from God and was willing to learn, to be trained and treated by the loving hands of their divine Potter, could transform his adversity in the greater blessing to your life.
It is possible that today we are going through a similar situation to the Job, with personal, family, economic difficulties. It is possible that, like Job, we are focused on the problem and look more adversity than God himself.Something similar was that Peter lived when he walked upon the waters; He turned his gaze from the Lord and experienced sinking. Almost all have had moments of doubt or disbelief that prevent us from seeing the miracles and God's response, and make us perceive as big and impossible to resolve problems (Matthew 14:28-30).
But there is something wonderful that many do not know, and is the way Job managed to see the glory of God in the midst of the adverse situation. The Bible says that when Job prayed for his friends, God removed his affliction and increased to twice what I had before. The secret is to stop looking at us themselves, to look at only the problem, and seek God in prayer, having us even to pray for others, and to become instruments in the hands of him for the blessing of others. When we intercede for our family, friends, disciples and the world, we see how God acts, strengthening our faith, responding to our need and removing the affliction.
Intercessory prayer is a prayer forms which unquestionably takes us to see the great miracles and wonders that the Lord is in our favor and those for whom we intercede. We make today same the decision to let difficulties in God's hands and pray for others.
WE TALK WITH GOD:
“Heavenly Father, thank you for this day in your presence, how much confidence brings to my life knowing that up to my problems and difficulties help me well, because after forming my character as your son, they are transformed into great blessings. Now I know what I have to do is stay in your presence with a humble heart and a teachable spirit and above all, cultivating a generous heart that take me to not forget those who are by my side, as we usually do when we have problems and difficulties. Help me to not focus on myself (a) because then the problems is increase. Teach me by your spirit to look to you and to seek the good of others, because then the problems will minimize and I will address one of your blessing" Amen
