"There is, let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus." Who being in the form of God, did not consider being equal with God a thing to be grasped. But which emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, made likeness of men"(Philippians 2:5-7)
COMPLEMENTARY passage: Philippians 2:1-18; Hebrews 4: 14-5:10
The world is full of models, patterns, styles to follow; but in reality what people need to see us children of God, is Jesus living in and through our lives. That have a great responsibility to live according to the customs of the sky.
When the word of God tells us, that we must be the same mind that was in Christ, us is directly involved in the lifestyle that led our Redeemer; He could cling to heaven, but did not do so for the sake of us, did not consider to be God, instead stripped to become like us.
The question for us Christians is today: to what we cling? Are there the same feelings of Christ in us?
As children of God, we must cultivate these features of life without equal of Jesus: simplicity, humility, love and mercy. We should be free to provide love and comfort to those who desperately need it. Perhaps we need to rid ourselves of the things that are fleeting, and you empty, to which you are attached.
The road ahead and pleasing to the Lord, is clinging to him and his word, to live according to the purpose for which we were called. Remember that if he not clung, but before he is stripped of the most wonderful, heavenly and Immaculate, he did it for the sake of us.
We therefore live with the same mind that was in Christ our Savior; only thus can impact other lives.
WE TALK WITH GOD:
"Lord, thank you for once again being in your presence, recognizes that everything of value in our life are you. Today we shed everything so far produced us pride and security, to cling only to you, our only banner and walk your fingertips, considering your feelings. Thank you for the gift of your presence, by your holy spirit who makes perfect our way, Amen."
Forward it to who you think you need this message, it will thank you.
