"Who is wise and understanding among you? Show by good conduct their work in wise meekness"(Santiago 3:13)
COMPLEMENTARY passage: Matthew 11: 28-30; Galatians 5:22-23
If anything we need to pass as parents to our children, they are the basic values that must be their foundation for life; and among these fundamentals is the appropriate way of interacting with their peers.
It is necessary to learn a matter of urgency, the wonderful don of themeekness , since the family as a transmitter of values, comes to deteriorate with profound changes and losing identity, unity and stability.
The gentleness and wisdom that speaks the Scripture mentioned, is what we need so that all teaching that we convey to our children reaching his heart and becomes a way of life.
Gentleness as part of the fruit of the Holy Spirit, comes from God, and we reached it to seeking communion with what is Manso and humble of heart, the Lord Jesus Christ. Will not be a desire, or by an act of our will or because thus propose us; It is a gift of God for our lives.
God through his spirit enables us to equip our life of meekness and teach our children to put on it. We can teach them many things in life, such as good students, responsible, keepers of their duty, intrepid, etc.,but no teaching will be both helpful, such as those that reflected the same spirit of God in our hearts, transforming us into his image and likeness .
Wisdom we see in King David before his death through the Council that gives to his son Solomon, is associated with the truth of God and its precepts. In 1. Kings 2:3-4, this wisdom expresses it well: "keeps the precepts of the Lord your God, walking in his ways, and watching his statutes and commandments, his decrees and their testimonies, in the way that is written in the law of Moses, so you prosper in everything you do and everything that you undertake..."
When what we teach are our daily experiences, our children will not resist to listen to us. God enables us to give us your wisdom and gentleness to be model parents they need.
WE TALK WITH GOD:
"Lord thank you for this new dawn in our lives, today we ask that we make parents wisely and that would teach us to cultivate the humility, and in this way can be a constant example to our children, help us to keep your precepts of the Lord our God, your ways, and noting your statutes and commandments, your orders and your testimonies, in the way that we are living examples for our children and families. Amen."
Forward it to who you think you need this message, it will thank you.
