«But about brotherly love, you have no need that I write, by that you yourselves have learned of God that ye love one another ". (1 Thessalonians 4:9)
COMPLEMENTARY passage: Romans 12:9-21
Paul believed that the Christians in Thessalonica had already learned the brotherly love and enjoyed it, since his encounter with the message of Jesus Christ had been both transformed their lives, which became imitators "his and the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 1:6).
They had left their idols, to become the living and true God, and to serve you; He was a true Ministry of faith, perseverance and love, through them. These men had enough experienced the love of Christ through the life of Paul.
God had taught them that in the same way as his love, his tenderness and mercy has had spilled on them, they should do so with all men. However, although the Thessalonians practiced brotherly love, Paul motivates them and calls to cultivate it and elaborate on it every day; just so the Church would grow and would be strengthened, others would be won for Christ, and the city would be blessed and prosper.
In a troubled world, Christians are called to build peace, and that peace starts doing practical teaching of Jesus: "this I command you:» That you love one another". (John 15:17). The world needs a peace based on love and not on treaties, and are you and I called to offer it. We decide to love on this day; we decide to act as acts of God, as Jesus acted.
Let's start with our own family. We decide to love them in the same way that God loves us: with delivery, with faithfulness, mercy, without conditions, without limits. That love aromatizing our home, permeates it with joy, will provide us with stability and firmness, will keep us unharmed to adversities, and spread to our neighborhoods and cities, generating life and peace.
WE TALK WITH GOD:
"Lord thank you for allowing us to be in your presence, let us rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation and constant in prayer." What wonderful has been for us to meet your supernatural love, for this reason we ask you to let us love the same way to all those who are our around. We recognize that you are the inexhaustible source of love. Become instruments of love for others, that we are worthy of your own representatives here on Earth. Amen"
Forward it to who you think you need this message, it will thank you.
