Parenting is one of the most beautiful experiences. There are no words to explain what a new parent feels when for the first time fixed his gaze into the eyes of her newborn son. It's indescribable to see these small human beings sprout and flower buds begin to grow, to learn and to develop their full potential. And what of that sublime moment when her first words are: dad, MOM?

We have to recognize that parenting is a privilege given by God, a good and merciful God, entrusted to us by the beautiful responsibility of educating them, guide them and assist them step by step, in such a way to grow not only in stature, but in wisdom and grace before God and society, until they become men and women of good to be lights that glow in a world that is in darkness.

But this work not be able comply with it ever, unless we fully understand the meaning of the children: Are a gift of God for our lives, the legacy he has left us so let's take it with tenacity and patience, not to lose it, not to waste it, but on the contrary, to grow and multiply.

God has given us in his word to not fail instructions and his promise to be with us, if we obey him. We can fail or make mistakes in any task we take on this earth, but we have no right to fail our children, because it is our work that will endure even after our death.

It is never late to start! And remember... take care of them and educate them properly requires the best of ourselves: time, effort, resources, but the most important thing is love.

"Father, we thank you for the joy of being in your presence, for our family, and especially for our children, what a wonderful privilege that you have given us, we recognize that parenting is a privilege given by you, a good and merciful God, who has entrusted us with the beautiful responsibility of educating them, guide them and assist them step by step, so that they not only grow in stature", but in wisdom and grace before God and society. Thank you for the gift of your presence in our lives, which assures us success as fathers or mothers. Today we pay our lives to you so that you would teach us to be parents as loving and special as you. Show us the way and lead us with your holy spirit. We will give you the lives of our children and bless them in the name of Jesus." Amen.
