A GOOD ACTION, A GREAT REWARD
"And whatever you do, work at it's heart, as for the Lord, not for men;" knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance, because Christ the Lord to serve." (Colossians 3:23-24)
COMPLEMENTARY passage: Colossians 3:22-25; Ephesians 6:5-8; 1 Peter 3:12
There are two ways of doing things: as God and as for men. All those who approach with faith to God with sincere desire to know it, can enjoy doing things as for God. This, but implies a great responsibility in what has to do with the excellence of our work, also represents the reward from the Lord himself. Which makes things as for men, men should expect retribution. But which makes it to God, serving him and for his glory, also participate in their rewards, which are always better: eternal and exalted.
One of the main features of the service to God, is that it is made of heart , i.e., motivated by love and compassion for the helpless, the sick and the needy. This is what makes us true agents of change, when the pain we feel for the needs of those who suffer enough as to which us lift to take effective action, as did the same Lord Jesus Christ.
Is the biggest example we have on social responsibility: Jesus is touched, is hurt and sought to alleviate the punishment and satisfy the need. His entire life was a life of service, as he never allowed that convenience, winning followers not to increase his popularity, or even, the feeling good about itself, was their motivation to serve.
Your service has always been an act of love, love that said even in the circumstances more difficult, more unfair; a love that experienced by everyone, friends and enemies, followers and pursuers, poor and rich. His life was completely reversed in salvation, well-being and the health of others here is the most comprehensive and challenging life!
God can do great things through people who are willing to be guided by it. Today there is a great need to be available both to God and to others. We take today the decision to not be indifferent observers of the current situation, and based on this promise, to give our lives to the service of God, which is to serve others. But remember, that good deeds begin and are made in the home.
WE TALK WITH GOD
"Father beloved thank you for giving us a new day, today we understand by your spirit, that the sole purpose for which you have created us has been so your name may be glorified through our lives. Allow us to be sensitive to the needs of others. That for the love that you have us every day are looking for investing in others without looking at who and without expecting anything in return, knowing that Ti all we have it, and all make good cheer, for Ti my Lord and not to expect rewards passing, knowing that we will receive the reward of the inheritance of it Mr. Because the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to our prayers. Humble yourselves, therefore, low the mighty hand of God so that he may exalt us at the appropriate time." Amen
